Petaling Street

Petaling Street is the Chinatown of Kuala Lumpur. It cuts through Jalan Pudu and Jalan Sultan. There is almost everything here from clothes, souvenirs to electronic items to fabrics and at a cheap price. It will put your bargaining skills to test. There's not many proper shop as many of them are little stalls. Other than that, there's also stalls that sells drinks and food. There's other attraction nearby such as Central Market Kuala Lumpur and Sri Mahamariamman Temple.

You can get here by car but getting parking space will be an issue as it is almost impossible to find one. Another way to get here is by getting on the Kelana Jaya Line and get down at the Pasar Seni LRT Station. After getting down at the LRT station, a short walking distance will get you to Petaling Street. The Hop On Hop Off buses also comes here.
